6 Days Migration Safari

Tour Overview

This 4-day Great Migration Safari (6 days including arrival and departure) is specially designed for the Calving Season, which takes place annually from January to March in the Southern Serengeti and the Ndutu plains. During this spectacular period, over 8,000 wildebeest calves are born each day, creating one of nature’s most dramatic wildlife events. The vast grasslands erupt with life as predators such as lions, cheetahs, hyenas, and leopards take advantage of the abundance of young prey—making it a prime time for exceptional wildlife viewing and photography.

Your journey also includes game drives in Tarangire National Park, known for its massive elephant herds and ancient baobab trees, and a full exploration of the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site with the highest density of wildlife in Africa. With comfortable mid-range accommodations, expertly guided drives, and well-planned routes, this itinerary ensures you witness the Great Migration at its most dramatic and unforgettable stage.
