5 Days Tanzania Safari

Day 1: Arrival in Tanzania (Kilimanjaro International Airport / Arusha Airport)

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) or Arusha Airport (ARK), you’ll be warmly welcomed by a Season Master Adventures representative and transferred to your hotel in Arusha. After check-in, your safari guide will provide a detailed briefing covering the itinerary, wildlife expectations, safety tips, and helpful safari advice. Spend the rest of the day relaxing at your hotel, enjoying the tropical surroundings, and preparing for your safari adventure.

Day 2: Arusha – Serengeti National Park

Your adventure begins with an early morning pick-up from Arusha. Travel through the scenic Great Rift Valley and lush Ngorongoro Highlands, stopping at Mto wa Mbu for a brief cultural insight into village life and a chance to taste local produce. Continue your journey with a picnic lunch en route, then arrive at Naabi Hill Gate, the entry point to Serengeti National Park.

Embark on your first thrilling game drive, spotting elephants, giraffes, lions, zebras, and antelopes roaming freely across the iconic plains. In the evening, unwind at your campsite and enjoy dinner under the glittering Serengeti night sky.

Day 3: Serengeti – Ngorongoro Conservation Area

Rise early for a sunrise game drive, when predators and prey create spectacular wildlife moments. Enjoy breakfast in the park before embarking on another morning drive to maximize sightings of the Serengeti’s abundant wildlife.

Depart mid-morning toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, enjoying the rolling hills, savannah scenery, and a picnic lunch en route. Arrive at your crater rim campsite in the evening. Relax and enjoy dinner with the cool highland air.

Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater – Arusha

After breakfast, descend 600 meters into the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater, often referred to as “Africa’s Eden.” Spend the morning on a game drive, spotting rhinos, lions, elephants, zebras, hippos, and wildebeests, completing your Big Five experience.

Enjoy a scenic picnic lunch within the crater, then ascend the crater walls and drive back to Arusha, taking in the breathtaking landscapes along the way. Arrive in the late afternoon and check into your hotel.

Day 5: Departure & Optional Arusha Town Tour

Enjoy a relaxed morning at your hotel. If time allows, take a short Arusha town tour to explore vibrant local markets, handicraft shops, or enjoy a cup of Tanzanian coffee at a local café. Capture last memories of your safari before your driver transfers you to Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) or Arusha Airport (ARK) for your onward journey.
